Moving to Tuscany in 2009, Marta Sierota decided to work with the beautiful, abandoned vineyards that surrounded her new home. The estate is in the small village of Usigliano, nestled in the heart of the Pisan hills.
The unique positioning of her estate means that vineyards benefit from the influence of the tramontana and the libeccio, winds from both mountain and sea. This allows her to cultivate vines with a non- interventionist approach that is firmly rooted in biodynamics. Marta produces exclusively monovarietal wines, as she deems this the best way to communicate terroir through wine.
